Facility Maintainer™ allows HVAC engineers, service managers and maintenance/repair personnel to collect equipment data and maintenance records at a remote site as easily as filling out a form. The software operates on any Pocket-PC enabled PDA running Pocket PC 2002 or later.
(PRWEB) October 27, 2004 -- Facility Maintainer™ is designed to be convenient
and easy to use, the end user selects data they want to enter from pull-down
menus that are specifically designed for HVAC service professionals. The menus
are pre-loaded with the most common types of cooling and heating equipment,
manufacturers, and cooling and heating types.
Facility Maintainer™ allows multiple service professionals to record maintenance and repair information on their mobile devices and then to merge the data into one complete service history back at the home office. The complete service history is “portable” eXtensible Markup Language (XML) data that can be shared back to each service professional’s mobile device so they can look-up maintenance and repair activity at a remote location. In addition, the service history data can be used to create customer reports using standard Microsoft Office tools such as Word or Excel.
Facility Maintainer™ is another step that HVAC service professionals can take towards continued improvement in accuracy and automation. Based on Microsoft .NET and XML technology, Facility Maintainer™ provides for easy data import into Word 2003, Access 2003 and Excel 2003 for report generation and further analysis. Report formats can be easily customized to fit the user’s needs.
EdgeView Software will be exhibiting its Facility Maintainer™ and Facility Auditor™ products at the AHR Expo in Orlando, FL February 7-9, 2005. Visit booth# 3666 to see a live demo of these products.
